Useful tip

Keep the original if camera settings matter to you. Removing metadata does not hide information visible in the image itself.

A fresh copy instead of an in-place edit

Filemivo draws the decoded image onto a new canvas and exports it without copying the source metadata blocks. The browser may add basic encoding information of its own. The original stays untouched, and animation is not preserved in the new static copy.
